So from one (frozen) turd to another, this rant is about good ol’ Donny Trump. The man who is so narcissistic and dumb that he would actually appreciate this blog, as it is all about him. This is of course all Trump really cares about after money, scandal and dodging stylists.
As we were perhaps naive enough to think Trump had finally been removed from the daily news feed (falling from one turmoil to the next), it seems the good ol’ US of A think he’s still Gods gift to Government. A Nation of circa 330million people, a large majority (potentially half) think he’s the best person to lead the most powerful Country on the planet. Either that or like anyone who voted for Biden, he’s deemed the lesser of the 2 evils. Let’s face it, Biden only got in to get Trump out. The fact the Country thinks a 77-year old orange Narcissist and a forgetful, clumsy 81-year old are the best candidates to lead this so called ‘Great’ Country says more about the People than its leaders. Of course they’ll take the Presidency. Trump needs a vehicle to feed his ego and need for totalitarian power and Biden wants to tick the President box. This isn’t a dig at Biden though, I just think the Country has to have a better candidate than someone who's older than my Dad (no offence Dad). This isn’t about agism either, but Biden often does what 81-year old men do. They are forgetful, clumsy and sometimes nod off.
Back to ‘El Haircut’ though. What is it about Trump that his Republican party see in him to make them think he’s the man to lead the most powerful Country. When you look at great, strong leaders, such as Churchill, Obama, Martin Luther King Jr. and my own personal favourite Sir Alex Ferguson, what does Trump have that inspires you or demonstrates he has the ability to facilitate change for the good? I’m aware he’s popular. Justin Bieber is popular. The Rock is popular. The Kardashians are popular. They’re also highly annoying and unfit to run any Country. I wonder if Trump voters really get what Trump must feel about them. He knows full well what he’s about. I can only think he looks at those voters and thinks ‘You're really gonna vote for me?’ I mean, let’s face it, Trump is a clown. A joke of a man. Trump fills the tabloids for everything BUT doing his job. I understand the ‘entertainment factor’ but is that what the US people want? An Entertainer to lead the shop? We sort of expect this from Kim “The Rocketman” Jong Un who tells his Country he hit 5 ‘holes in one’ in his first ever golf game and could drive when he was just 3-years old; but this is the USA, not an oppressive sovereign dictatorship ruled by a real-life Walter Mitty.
Furthermore, we’ve seen the Trump film. We know how it ends. This would be the equivalent of the Speed sequel with the only difference being that rather than driving a bomb strapped bus through rush hour Los Angeles, we’ve now chartered a bomb strapped boat. I mean having Trump as President again (like the film) is hardly fresh is it? Has the man changed? Did he do such a great job first time round that he needs to finish what he set out to do? The sequel was a Box Office flop and like Trump, no matter how you pitch it, he’ll always be a ticking bomb, which in both films blow-up eventually.
The US really needs to get serious about its Government and place in the World. Let’s face it, Trump will advocate for whatever is trending. The man would literally lead the Democratic Party if it was the only means of sitting in the top chair. In contrast, Biden is only really mentioned in the news when there is actual Governmental issues going on or how he now and again says something clumsy.
I think voting for Trump is akin to the UK X-Factor haters getting Rage Against the Machine’ ‘Killing in the Name Of’ to number 1 in the UK charts for Christmas 2009 to break the monopoly the X-Factor winners had on this crown. As is the protesting nature of this song, Trump is only elected for the purpose of anarchy, not because he’s the right choice. He’s also (like the song) outdated. Surely the US wants a forward-thinking innovator, not some archaic old-timer. Watching Trump talk is like watching WWE, when The Rock would take the mic and rally the crowd for entertainment purposes. He is oddly a crowd pleaser based on the reaction he generates, but these can only be narrow minded people who eat up his words. Politics is not an entertainment business or popularity contest. I know Social Media and the media generally like to dress it up as such, as it sells and trends and therefore gets traction. It’s for this reason they’ll never ban racism on their platforms.
I understand there are a number of Republicans who will vote for him to ensure their Party are elected, and its perhaps these people I feel for the most. It’s fine to be a Republican (not too far right though), but the Party has to find other stronger candidates. The fact that it can’t shows the Party is weak and desperate. Trump is both incompetent and dangerous to have such powers. He actually suggested COVID victims inject themselves with disinfectant to cure themselves; and no, that wasn’t ‘Locker Room’ chat, which is how he batted away once being caught on video saying how he gets away with groping Women’s p***y’s. Most recently he said he’d encourage Russia to attack NATO allies for not paying their membership fees. I mean, it’s a bit ‘who brought a gun to a fist fight’ isn’t it? Can the same be applied to those who don’t pay their taxes Donny?
He’s ultimately a conning real estate hustler, which I’ll say he’s probably very good at, as the role requires the individual to spout constant horses**t combined with lies. Additionally (and I know this is shallow) does anyone really need 4 more years of his orange face, ridiculous hair and red tie? We’ll see enough of that without being him stood behind the lectern. Trump is of course that ‘floater’ you just can’t flush away. To quote my Dad, “He’s about as much use as a fart in a bottle”. The word ‘Trump’ is actually what the Brits call a ‘Fart’.
I know Trump isn’t in power yet (and is on the clock with all the Court hearings he’s attending) but he’ll likely be the Republicans primary candidate unless Nikki Haley can make a comeback given the others have dropped out. Note, I’ve no clue if Nikki Haley is the right person for the role either but she has a better haircut at least. With this, it leads us to assume it’ll be another Trump / Biden battle, ideally without a repeat of the January 6, 2021 anarchy. Side note, surely that incident alone should block any future campaign for Trump but it seems the US is becoming more like the lawless Wild West these days. I actually wish these 2 old men would have an actual fight. Trump would be akin to an ageing WWE fighter with too much smack talk than he knows what to do with and Biden likely forgetting why he’s even in the ring. Its got an eyre of Lethal Weapon 4 written all over it, as Riggs and Murtaugh (Mel Gibson and Danny Glover) would repeatedly state “we’re not too old for this s**t!” Maybe Trump can loop in Vince McMahon to shave his head again – maybe make him his running partner since he’s 78 himself. If we’re looking for 2 old has-beens to battle it out though, I’d sooner have Schwarzenegger and Stallone, 76 and 77 respectively. Bring back some of that 80’s macho action, firing rocket launchers and oozy’s at each other. This would equally be entertainment and since the Republican party clearly aren’t serious about resolving real-life issues and voters would rather be fed fake news and chaos then I wonder what the difference is. Who knows, maybe plummeting the ‘so called’ most powerful nation in the World deeper into the gutter wouldn’t be such a bad thing. It would allow the rest of the World to breathe and not let Trump continue to suck all the oxygen out of the room.
Finally, if Americans must elect this clown, please PLEASE have a whip round to get the Giant Peach a F****N HAIRCUT AT LEAST!!!
